Ivo is a Director at VantagePoint and specializes in the Financial Services industry. Ivo works strategically with front office client teams across Asset Management, Hedge Funds and Securities firms in APAC to identify and attract the strongest talent in this competitive industry.

Before joining VantagePoint, Ivo worked for 4 years in Tokyo as a Front Office executive search consultant at a global recruitment firm and brings a depth of knowledge from his M&A consulting days in his native Portugal, where he executed domestic and cross-border deals between financial and healthcare related companies.

Ivo graduated with a Master’s degree in Human Resources in Portugal and has an executive degree in Business Management from Católica Porto Business School. In 2013 he graduated from the European Commission’s sponsored “Executive Training Programme Japan” where he studied international business and Japanese at the University of London - SOAS and at Waseda University in Tokyo.

Taking advantage of his experience in international financial services as an M&A consultant and over 6 years recruitment experience, Ivo is passionate about the investment world and working with professionals in this industry from a business strategy perspective. He plays futsal regularly and enjoys hiking with his family and friends.
