Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Revenue and Expenditure Control

Business P&L Delivery
- Own and manage the country’s business P&L end-to-end and ensure that all financial and business performance metrics are delivered ahead of plans.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations to work on new ideas and innovations to improve margins and profits on a sustained basis.

Financial Reporting
- Provide comments and analysis of financial results with respect to variances from budget and forecasts.
- Ensure company statutory accounts are prepared on time in accordance with local statutory requirement and liaise with the company auditor.

Strategic Planning
- Co-create and drive the 5-year strategic plan for the country with the country manager.
- Own the annual strategic plan for the country and ensure that the building blocks for delivering the Goal plan are robust.

- Cash Management
- Credit Control/Receivables Management
- Inventory Accounting and Costing

General Accounting Controls
- Ensure accuracy of the Company’s Financial Statements through the process of balance sheet and profit and loss review.
- Ensure all balance sheets items are analysed regularly and advise Country Manager on any significant over/under provision especially provision for stock obsolescence, doubtful debts, sales allowances and accruals.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant
- 10 years + accounting experience, minimum 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Good understanding of GAAP, internal control and tax regulation
- Able to work under pressure effectively to meet deadlines through and with others.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office & SAP
- Positive in the face of business changes that impact their work and procedures – remains flexible and takes prompt action.
- Comfortable solving new, complex or unfamiliar problems and making decisions with logical explanation
