Sales Director
Global Fintech Start-up is looking for a Sales Director to lead a sales team. The person must be native in Japanese and business/fluent in English.
They are looking for a passionate, driven and result-obsessed Sales Director, who will be responsible for driving adoption of market-leading AI technology.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a territory and drive revenue growth as a quota carrier
- Develop sales strategy for the automotive industry in Japan with support from Head of APAC
- Manage a pipeline of automotive clients through the entire sales cycle
- Structure, negotiate, and close 7-8 figure deals by navigating complex organizations
- Develop novel insights into your customers’ needs and influence product roadmap
Requirements
- Experience negotiating SaaS deals of the largest size
- 10+ years enterprise sales experience for the automotive industry. Sales experience of SaaS, IT solution, software is a plus, but not required
- Extensive track record of closing deals with 7-8 figure annual revenue
- Highly skilled in structuring complex deals with large organizations
- Capable of building trust and rapport with senior enterprise management
- High autonomy self-starter, comfortable in early stage company with R&D heavy product
- Native fluency in Japanese is required. Professional proficiency in English is strong plus, but not required
