Sales Director
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prospect and close business with a targeted list of agency and advertiser accounts
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company service offering, industry trends, and competition
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a united vision when corresponding with clients
- Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients
- Help break into new expansion markets
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Ensure customer and market needs requirements are collected and pushed to the relevant internal teams to address market expectations.
- Use Salesforce and other sales tools, build prospect lists and craft outbound messaging
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (in marketing, business, or communications is a plus)
- Bilingual (Japanese/English)
- 5+ years of Sales experience, previous Ad Sales or SaaS experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication to express ideas & information clearly and concisely
- Proven success in prospecting and closing business in Japan
- Relational ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, as well as work with and influence all levels within a global, matrixed environment
- Driven, passionate, and an ultimate team player
- An excellent communicator; specifically, strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Required - Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Salesforce
- Proven success in prospecting and closing business in the APAC region outside of Japan is a big plus!
